A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel Review
Kids in A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel
It is a kids friendly Hotel and you can really enjoy the time with your kids. There is an outdoor pool and also indoor SPA swimming pools.
Kids will enjoy all the chances to have no end of fun whilst parents can relax and be spoilt in a 3000 sq. m. wellness and fitness area.
There is an outdoor playground for kids in the hotel's big green garden and also an indoor playground next to the breakfast restaurant. The area in general and surroundings are green and away from the noise of the city.
The hotel is equiped with all the necessary services and you should be able to find all you need in reception. You can rent a stroller for €5 per day on request, also a sterilizer, bottle warmer and small tub for infants.
Access to SPA for kids 6 - 16, from 10:00 to 12:00 if accompanied by an adult. Only minor is that although might be even 4 people working at the reception at the same, you might wait in a short queue for sometime.
Children 1,40m tall accompanied by one adult eat FREE of charge at Sapori dal Mondo restaurant. Last but not least there is a baby sitting service on demand.
A very useful map with all the necessary information, places and transport is available for everyone.
Also a FREE water with lemon just when entering the hotel. I forgot to mention that you have FREE water and FREE soft drinks and ice tea in the room and during meals.
Castel Sant Angelo Rome
Finally, at least the time of our visit there was a lot of kids and our son found some kids to play, although he wasn't speaking the same language.
To finish, Kids are very welcome to A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel and the Hotel offers a great place for them.
There are playgrounds, swimming pools and the most of the Food is FREE of Charge for the Kids.
Location of the A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel
The hotel A. Roma Lifestyle is located around 20 minutes from the center of Rome.
The center is accessible using public transport and using the hotel shuttle so you can easily go to the center anytime you need to.
The address of the Hotel is: Via Giorgio Zoega, 59, Rome, RM, 00164, Italy. The official Website is: https://www.hotel-aroma.com/en/
Rome Airports and Transfers
Ciampino Airport is located just 25 km from the hotel, and is a 30 minute drive via the Roman Ring Road (GRA). If you're not driving, the taxi fare will be around €56 and the driver will bring you to the door of the hotel.
Fiumicino - Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport is 22 km from the hotel, and by taking the Roman Ring Road (GRA) the journey will take about 20 minutes in a car. Travelling by taxi will cost you €48.
Hotel Airport Transfers and public transport
The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Fiumicino (FCO) between 7.00 AM and 5.00 PM for €15 per person each way. (Reservation in advance is required).
The transports are made in an airconditioned Mercedes VITO. In case you are 3+ person, taking a taxi is cheaper and can be faster.
Only minor was that we booked the Hotel Airport transfer service 1 hour after landing and we was waiting at the airport when we could just take a taxi and pay nearly the same.
Around 300 meters from the hotel, there is a bus stop where you can take the Bus H. The bus can take you to the center of Rome.
You can buy tickets for €1,50 which they last for 100 minutes. Everything should be on the map that the hotel will give to you.
If you are staying in another place, there are many shuttle buses that go to the city center. Prices from €4 per person one way. You can buy your ticket outside the Terminal 3.
A. ROMA Lifestyle hotel also offers transports to the three most important locations in the city on specific times. See the picture above for all the necessary information.
The bus stop is just outside the door of the hotel but you need to ask reception to book you a sit. You can add it to the room or pay at the same time.
I have used the service to go to the Vatikan and the bus stops just 5 minutes walk from the entrance where the electronic tocket holders should enter.
The transfer to Vatikan costs €2 and it is much confortable than using the public transport.
Airport Transfers - Fiumicino to Termini
I have tried the Terravision Service to travel from Fiumicino airport to Termini central station. This on my second visit to Rome as a Solo traveller. The artcle is coming soon. The service was great and the price both ways was just €10.
Can be even cheaper and time saving when booking online.
Location of the hotel is around 5 KM from the city center you can easily and inexpensively go to the center any time you need.
You have the ability to be in the center until 21:00 or 23:15 when using the Hotel service.
But you can also stay out until 24:00 when is the last bus or even later and take a Taxi. UBER also operates in Rome.
Food in A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel
Whatever i say about the food will be too little. It is just awesome with a rich variety of different cuisines. We have tried the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Also the bar food and buffet that works during other hours.
Below is the burger which they make in the bar of the hotel. The bar operates with a buffet as well which cost around €20 per person. Also here kids are for FREE (When they say kids they mean kids under 1,40cm).
I highly recommend to book a table for the dinner that starts at 19:00. Amazing food out of many different cuisines is served there. The service is excellent and the kids are for FREE.
Also water and soft drinks are for FREE and not sure if they charge the local wine in Carafe. It is just €29 per adult person.
We paid €60 for 2 adults and 1 Kid 6 years old and we ate all the good of Japanese, Asian and Italian cuisine. We drunk 100 cl of red wine and ate sweets and fruits as well As you can see in the picture below, our kid loves Sushi.
We paid the same money for 1 pizza, 1 pasta, 1 bottle of water, 1 coke and 1 glass of white wine next to the Vatykan city.
Finally, the food in the Hotel in General is awesome. The service is very good and all the staff speaks very good English and other Languages.
In my opinion it is not worth eating outside the Hotel. Value for money!
You also save a lot of money with the FREE water and FREE soft drinks.
Just something to be aware when booking. Hotel is blocking €200. You can use those money in the hotel. If you do not use them, then they return them in your card. Make sure you don't double pay staff, specially tickets for transport and etc.
Finally note that there is a city tax of €12 per day that is paid extra when checking out.
The Wi-Fi in whole Hotel and rooms is FREE of Charge and it works very well. All the areas are covered and the speed is more than satisfactory. You can do some good job!!
We have tried a lot of the Hotel services. The staff is always very helpful, polite and pleasant in all the cases. The driver picked us from the airport was nice and professional. We drove us fast to the hotel.
Then we was able to live our staff and go to the swimming until we get our room. Reception was very helpful and able to answer and handle all our requests.
The people in the restaurants was amazing and we never waited for long time to get what we wanted. Only waiting times are in the restaurant before you sit, in reception and after if you want to pay straight after the dinner.
Plaza Venezia in Rome
- Rent a bike from the hotel for only €10 euro per day. It worth to take the bike and explore the green surroundings of the hotel. Also go for a ride in the city although the city doesn't seems to be very bike friendly like Warsaw for example.
Circus Maximus in Rome
- Book your visit to the Vatikan museum iin advance. You can ask reception or just book online.
I recommned checking: Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Fast-Track Entry - €28 per person and around 15,000 reviews with average score of 4.5 / 5.0. and also with a slightly better price and a good description: Skip the Line: Tickets for Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel - 7888 Reviews and score 9,4 / 10.
- Book a table for the dinner buffet in the hotel - it is awesome.
- Try to book the hotel from the A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel Website in case you would like some special SPA package, you can find it there. But also check the hotel prices in Booking.com - A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel in Rome. Finally you can also check it on: Hotels.com.
- You can use anything that is in the mini-bar (Water, Soft Drinks and Chips without extra charges).
- Check the time of arrival with the Airport pickup service. If you are more than 2 people, it might worth to just take a TAXI from outside the airport.
- Rome is a vey crowded place, specially in the summer. Better try to book Skip the Line tickets in advance for the places you would like to see.
- Go early to the outdoor swimming pool. As the swimming pool is small and the sunbeds are limited.
- Make the Hotel Review after the visit. You will get a €15 discount code for your next visit.

Rome has many different Hop On Hop Off Bus providers. Some of them have bad reviews and their services are not very good. I have tested the "I Love Rome - Hop On Hop Off Panoramic Tour" and i will provide some more information here.
We booked our tickets online in advance from Here. We booked just one 24 Hours tickect and 2 tickets for same day. On the validation of the tickets they gave us 3 x 24 hours tickets.
The checking of the tickets was always easy and we felt that the staff was trusting us.
The Bus is going to all the main attractions in the city of Rome. In our case the bus was not going to Fontana di Trevi, due to the fact that the road was closed by the Police. This unfortunately may happen at any time in Rome.
Briefly the Stops of the Bus are: Termini, St. Mary Major, Colosseum, Circo Massimo, Piazza Venezia, Vatikan and St. Angelo, Trevi Fountain, Via Ludovisi Veneto, Barberini.
You can validate your ticket in any of the bus stops.
The Vatikan square in Rome
While being in the bus, you might hear for Tours. In our case they was offering a Tour to the Colosseum but we haven't ask for information or prices.
In general the bus was very convenient. It was always there when we was going to the bus stop and the waiting times was not very long. It was at some points very crowded, but you could always find a place to sit.
The bus also has an audio guide that says a few words about each of the worth to see. They are also giving FREE Headsets and the audio guide is in many languages. You can also get a FREE map when entering the bus.
The only minor is that the Wi-Fi is not working well. I was able to connect a few times but the most of the time was hardly moving. It can be due to many people using it at the same time.
Finally, i was able to use my 24 Hours till the last moment before it expired. I could even stay longer in the bus, as nobody is checking the tickets on the way out of the bus.
Important: If you book the Hotel A. ROMA LifeStyle and the Hop On Hop Off Bus - You can take the H Bus from the Stop Number 5. Piazza Venezia and Get straight back to the Hotel.
You just need to walk a bit and get in the front side of Piazza Venezia. As you see the builduing in front of you, the Bus Stop should be on your right hand.
