Rome Hotels: A. Roma LifeStyle & I Love Rome Hop On Hop Off Bus

Trip to Rome in the luxury Hotel A. ROMA Lifestyle. We discover the city with the «I Love Rome Hop On Hop Off» bus. The weather in August was not so pleasant which was the only minor together with fail planning of the Vatikan museum visit.

Kids & A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel (Rome)

This is my personal Review for A. Roma Lifestyle Hotel in Rome. We visited Rome with our son in August. Definitely it is a kid's friendly hotel in Rome and you can really enjoy the time with your kids. There is an outdoor pool and also indoor SPA swimming pools.

Kids will enjoy all the chances to have no end of fun whilst parents can relax and be spoilt in a 3000 sq. m. wellness and fitness area. There is an outdoor playground for kids in the hotel's big green garden and also an indoor playground next to the breakfast restaurant.

The area in general and the surroundings are green and away from the noise of the city.

The hotel is equipped with all the necessary services and you should be able to find all you need in reception. You can rent a stroller for €5 per day on request, also a sterilizer, bottle warmer, and small tub for infants.

Access to SPA for kids 6 - 16, from 10:00 to 12:00 if accompanied by an adult. The only minor is that although might be even 4 people working at the reception at the same, you might wait in a short queue for some time.

Children 1,40m tall accompanied by one adult eat FREE of charge at Sapori dal Mondo restaurant. Last but not least there is a babysitting service on demand. A very useful map with all the necessary information, places and transport is available for everyone. Also, FREE water with lemon just when entering the hotel.

I forgot to mention that you have FREE water and FREE soft drinks and ice tea in the room and during meals.

Finally, at least at the time of our visit there were a lot of kids and our son found some kids to play with, although he wasn't speaking the same language.

To finish, Kids are very welcome to A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel and the Hotel offers a great place for them. There are playgrounds, swimming pools and most of the Food is Free of Charge for the Kids.

Location of A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel

The hotel A. Roma Lifestyle is located around 20 minutes from the center of Rome. The center is accessible using public transport and using the hotel shuttle minibus, so you can easily go to the center anytime you need to.

When we arrived, we were waiting around 45 minutes for the hotel minibus driver to pick us up.

Airports Transfers

Ciampino Airport has located just 25 km from the hotel and is a 30-minute drive via the Roman Ring Road (GRA). If you're not driving, the taxi fare will be around €56 and the driver will bring you to the door of the hotel.

A Roma LifeStyle Private Shuttle Bus

Fiumicino - Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport is 22 km from the hotel, and by taking the Roman Ring Road (GRA) the journey will take about 20 minutes in a car.

Traveling by taxi will cost you €48.

Hotel Airport Transfers and public transport

The hotel offers a shuttle service to and from Fiumicino (FCO) between 7.00 AM and 5.00 PM for €15 per person each way. Reservation in advance is required. The transports are made in an airconditioned Mercedes VITO. In case you are 3+ people, taking a taxi is cheaper and can be faster.

Only minor was that we booked the Hotel Airport transfer service 1 hour after landing and we were waiting at the airport when we could just take a taxi and pay nearly the same.  Around 300 meters from the hotel, there is a bus stop where you can take the Bus H. The bus can take you to the center of Rome.

You can buy tickets for €1,50 which they last for 100 minutes. Everything should be on the map that the hotel will give to you. If you are staying in another place, there are many shuttle buses that go to the city center. Prices from €4 per person one way. You can buy your ticket outside Terminal 3.

Shuttle Bus Service A ROMA Lifestyle Hotel

A. ROMA Lifestyle hotel also offers transports to the three most important locations in the city at specific times. The schedule is shown in the image above. The bus stop is just outside the door of the hotel but you need to ask reception to book you a sit. You can add it to the room or pay it at the same time.

I have used the service to go to the Vatikan and the bus stops just 5 minutes walk from the entrance where the electronic ticket holders should enter. The transfer to Vatikan costs €2 and it is much comfortable than using public transport.

Airport Transfers - Fiumicino to Termini

Tried the Terravision Service to travel from Fiumicino airport to Termini central station, during my second visit to Rome as a Solo traveler. The article is coming soon. The service was great and the price both ways was just €10. It can be even cheaper and time-saving when booking online.

The location of the hotel is around 5 KM from the city center you can easily and inexpensively go to the center any time you need. You have the ability to be in the center until 21:00 or 23:15 when using the Hotel service.

But you can also stay out until 24:00 when it is the last bus or even later and take a Taxi. UBER also operates in Rome.

Food in A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel (Rome)

Whatever I say about the food will be too little. It was just awesome with a rich variety of different cuisines. We have tried the breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Also, the bar food and buffet that works during the rest of the time, was also great.

Below is the burger which they make in the bar of the hotel. The bar operates with a buffet as well which costs around €20 per person. Also here kids are for FREE (When they say kids they mean kids under 1,40cm).

Food Review A ROMA LifeStyle Hotel Bar

I highly recommend booking a table for the dinner that starts at 19:00. Amazing food out of many different cuisines is served there. The service is excellent and the kids are for FREE.

Also, water and soft drinks are for FREE, and not sure if they even charge the local wine in Carafe. We paid for all the amazing food only €29 per adult person and we were eating and drinking like kings.

Sushi and Wine in A. Roma lifestyle Hotel - Rome

So, the total we paid €60 for 2 adults and 1 Kid 6 years old and we ate all the good of Japanese, Asian and Italian cuisine. We drunk 100 cl of red wine and we ate sweets and fruits as well. Gabriel, our kid also loves Sushi, so he was very happy :)

Just to compare, we paid the same money for 1 pizza, 1 pasta, 1 bottle of water, 1 coke and 1 glass of white wine next to the Vatican city.

Finally, the food in the Hotel, in General, is awesome. The service is very good and all the staff speaks very good English and other Languages. In my opinion, it is not worth eating outside the Hotel. The hotel food is Value for money in Rome!

Last but not least, you also save a lot of money with FREE water and FREE soft drinks.

General Information (Hotel Rome)

Just something to be aware of when booking. The hotel is blocking €200. You can use that money in the hotel. If you do not use them, then they return them to your card. Make sure you don't double pay staff, especially tickets for transport and etc.

Finally, note that there is a city tax of €12 per day that is paid extra when checking out.

Wi-FI

The Wi-Fi in the whole hotel and rooms is FREE of Charge and it works very well. All the areas are covered and the speed is more than satisfactory. You can do a really good job!

Hotel Staff

We have tried a lot of the Hotel services. The staff is always very helpful, polite, and pleasant in all cases. The driver picked us from the airport was nice and professional. We drove us fast to the hotel.

Circus Maximus RomeCircus Maximus in Rome

Then we were able to live our staff and go swimming until we get our room. The reception was very helpful and able to answer and handle all our requests. The people in the restaurant were amazing and we never waited for a long time to get what we wanted.

Only waiting times are in the restaurant before you sit, in reception and after if you want to pay straight after dinner.

Recommended in Rome Hotel

Rent a bike from the hotel for only €10 euro per day. It worth to take the bike and explore the green surroundings of the hotel. Also, go for a ride in the city although the city doesn't seem to be very bike-friendly like Warsaw for example.

Book your visit to the Vatican museums in advance. Ask in reception as soon as you arrive or better book online before your trip to Rome.

Book a table for the dinner buffet in the hotel - it is just awesome and definitely value for money.

Try to book the hotel from the A. ROMA Lifestyle Hotel Website in case you would like some special SPA package, you can find it there. You can use anything that is in the mini-bar (Water, Soft Drinks, and Chips without extra charges).

Check the time of arrival with the airport pickup service. If you are more than 2 people, it might worth just take a TAXI from outside the airport. Rome is a very crowded place, especially in the summer. Better try to book Skip the Line tickets in advance for the places you would like to see.

Go early to the outdoor swimming pool. The swimming pool is small and the sunbeds are limited. Make the Hotel Review after the visit. You will get a €15 discount code for your next visit.

I LOVE ROME Hop On Hop Off Bus Review

Rome has many different Hop On Hop Off Bus providers. Some of them have bad reviews and their services are not very good.

Tested the I Love Rome Hop On Hop Off Panoramic Tour and I will provide all you need to know.

I Love Rome Hop On Hop Off Bus

We booked our tickets online in advance from here: «I Love Rome Hop On Hop Off Panoramic Tour».

We took just one 24 Hours ticket and 2 same-day tickets. On the validation of the tickets, they gave us 3 x 24 hours tickets.

The checking of the tickets was always easy and we felt that the staff was trusting us. Most important is that Bus visits all the main attractions in the city of Rome.

In our case, the bus was not going to Fontana di Trevi, due to the fact that the road was closed by the Police. This, unfortunately, may happen at any time in Rome.

Bus Stops: Termini, St. Mary Major, Colosseum, Circo Massimo, Piazza Venezia, Vatikan and St. Angelo, Trevi Fountain, Via Ludovisi Veneto, Barberini.

You can validate your ticket at any of the bus stops.

The Vatikan Chrch RomeThe Vatican square in Rome

While being on the bus, you might hear for Tours. In our case, they were offering a Tour of the Colosseum but we haven't asked for information or prices.

In general, the bus was very convenient. It was always there when we were going to the bus stop and the waiting times were not very long.

It was at some points very crowded, but you could always find a place to sit. The bus also has an audio guide that says a few words about each of the worth to see.

They are also giving FREE Headsets and the audio guide is in many languages. You can also get a FREE map when entering the bus.

The only minor is that the Wi-Fi is not working most of the time. I was able to connect a few times but most of the time was hardly moving.

It can be due to many people using it at the same time.

Finally, I was able to use my 24 Hours until the last moment before it expired.

I could even stay longer on the bus, as nobody is checking the tickets on the way out of the bus.

Important, in case you book the Hotel A. ROMA LifeStyle and the, I Love Rome Hop On Hop Off Bus.

Take the H Bus from Stop Number 5. Piazza Venezia and get straight back to the Hotel.

You just need to walk a bit and get on the front side of Piazza Venezia.

As you see the building in front of you, the Bus Stop should be on your right hand.
